Random Picture Round-Up: February Releases Edition

We spend a lot of time here at THC searching for great pictures to use in our reviews, for our banners, and for whatever else strikes our fancy. It's not always easy finding the perfect screenshot, but when we do find pictures that make us laugh, say "What the hell?," or are just plain awesome, we save them.

Unfortunately, we never use them all, and so they just sit there in our picture folder, waiting... which is why we decided to start posting them in random groups on a weekly basis!

They might even help you to decide what to watch.

This time out, we're looking at the movie and TV releases of February that have us the most stoked.

  • Clicking each picture takes you to the movie's IMDB or Amazon Page

  • Each movie's title is also in the file name of the pictures, if you decide to save them to your computer.

  • Enjoy!

Trailer: Mute (2018)

"In a Berlin of the future, a mute bartender's search for his missing lady-love takes him deeper and deeper into the city's criminal underbelly."

You can add Mute to the wave of futuristic Sci-Fi projects that are blowing our minds lately (Blade Runner, Altered Carbon, Black Mirror, etc...), and as lovers of all things dystopian future, we'll be adding this one to our Netflix play list come February 23rd.

Mute hits Netflix on February 23rd.

Blu-ray & DVD: The Digital Dread Report for 1/30

In a world where streaming movies in HD is growing in popularity, it gets harder and harder to justify spending hard earned money on physical media. The fact is though that when done right, nothing makes a movie look or sound better on Blu-ray, so we bring you The Digital Dread Report to help you figure out what's worth buying, and what you're better off streaming.

It’s a tiny week on the Blu-ray release front. Class of 1999 and Gothic might be fun watches, especially if the words Vestron Video conjure up fond memories of your childhood.

And that’s it, but never fear, February will bring us plenty of goodies to make up for January’s final, lackluster week.

Be sure to click the pics below to buy the movies, or even rent them. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?
